For this month’s NC Demo Blog Hop, we were tasked with finding a picture of flowers that inspire us! I chose a picture I took of my gifts I received from my work team a couple of months ago… they really do appreciate me! (But not as much as I appreciate them). I received flowers and chocolates!!!
So, I came home and started going through my Pressed Petals Designer Paper and created this card:
This paper packs such a wow on its own that it needs very little added to it. I just heat embossed my sentiment from the Butterfly Wishes Stamp Set in Copper and layered it on some copper foil.
Then I used the Pressed Petals Washi Tape to create my flower. Tip: rub your embossing buddy on the tips of the Washi Petals so they don’t stick to your card. That will help keep your Petals raised up.
Card measurements:
- Card Base: 11″ x 4 1/4″, folded in half
- Layer: 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″
- Designer Paper: 4″ x 5 1/4″
- Copper Foil: 1 1/4″ x 4 1/4″
- Sentiment Layer: 1″ x 4 1/4″
