Today I wanted to share a couple of cards I made using the Bloom by Bloom bundle and the Incredible Like You stamp set! This suite of products is on our Last Chance list so they are only available while supplies last – if you love them, then you need to order them before they’re gone!
I wanted to show how you can use the same card layout and color combination in multiple ways. All you have to do is use a different sheet of Designer Paper , and boom, your cards are instantly different and still so striking! This is a perfect layout and concept for doing some #loveitchopit!
Both cards use the Happiness Blooms Designer Paper, and the colors that coordinate with the paper: Calypso Coral, Call Me Clover, Night of Navy, and Pineapple Punch.
The first card was done in Landscape, and uses Calypso Coral as my base, and Night of Navy as my stamped image layer. Which of these is your favorite? Leave me a comment below and tell me!
My second card was done in Portrait, and uses a Whisper White card base, and a Call Me Clover stamped layer.
They are finished off with some of the Happiness Blooms Enamel Dots.
Aren’t these cards just so bright and fun! Stampin’ Up has mastered the art of coordinating everything so designing cards like this is so easy! Just pick your Designer Paper, the coordinating stamp set (or two) and the ink and cardstock in the coordinating colors…done!

I have been working on my craft room for quite some time. I studied, measured, sketched, searched until I was ready to throw the notebook across the room – multiple times! But I finally had a sketch that I loved! I have a fairly small craft space. It is actually the sunroom in my apartment (see, who says you don’t have room for a stamping business in an apartment?!). So I have had to be quite creative to maximize my little space. In comes Stamp-n-Storage, Ikea, Amazon, and STORAGE by Stampin’ Up to the rescue!
Last year, I focused on my desk. I wanted a bigger work surface and my most used items at my reach. (More on that later). This year, I have focused on finishing my desktop area, and then on my other storage. This project has expanded to the entire apartment as I had stuff stuck EVERYWHERE!! I am so happy with my space that I want to begin sharing some of my space with you each week – look for Craft Room Updates each Saturday!
For my first post I wanted to focus specifically on how I am using some of our STORAGE by Stampin’ Up! This product line was just released the first of this month and is so awesome! Now, I already had several great storage solutions in my craft room, but I was lacking a satisfying solution for my Blends! I just hadn’t found that perfect item… at least, not until Stampin’ Up released their new Storage line! I just love how inspiring they are in my space! Let’s face it, some days, we need all the inspiration we can get! And they are right at my fingertips!

Today I am sharing a card I designed for a swap at OnStage this past weekend. The category was Avid Crafter cards which includes WOW and Fancy Fold cards. I chose to use the Let it Ride stamp set (because I love Horses) and to incorporate it on a Z-Fold card.
A Z-Fold card is one of the easier fancy folds in my opinion. No rocket science involved, just an extra fold on the front panel, and add your layers as usual… but it packs such a wow!
I wanted to keep the colors neutral so that my horse would be the star of the card, and I colored him and his friends on the inside with my Blends!
This is what the card looks like folded flat, as it would be in an envelope.
Here is my inside panel. I just love the vibe that these horses give… not a care in the world and just grazing along. I wish I could live like that some days… but responsibilities prevail…
Since this card was intended to be for an avid crafter, I had to step it up a bit! I used my rectangle stitched dies, added some designer paper, did a watercolor wash on my background, colored with my Blends, and heat embossed my sentiment on vellum. All pulled together, just makes this card a WOW.
The Z-Fold is a really simple design to do as well… and it packs such a punch!

The Let it Ride stamp set will carryover into the 2019-2020 Annual Catalog, so we can enjoy this set for another year! But the Designer Paper will not carryover, so if you love it, you better get it quick before its gone forever!
